For this year's return trip, my dive opportunities had doubled - four dives over the course of two days.
I selected Torpedo Tours after reading some very kind words about their dive operation on a handful of websites. Both Mike and Nikki were very professional and made this cold water diver comfortable and confident on both of our days of diving together. I can't recommend their operation enough and will definitely be calling on them next year when we come back.
Mike called this first site that we dove Aquarium. (Although, the more I think about it, this might also be known as Suck 'em Up. If that's the case, the site I'm calling Suck 'em Up is something completely different, and I have no idea what it should be called then.) Nikki stayed on the boat, while Mike and two other divers (Scott and Michelle from Maui) joined me in the water.
Little disclaimer - I hadn't done enough practice dives with my new camera before diving in Hawaii, so there is still quite a significant learning curve for me. I can honestly say that I was getting better, but not at first - had to learn some new tricks (tricks that I still need to practice with) to get good pictures with the new camera. Plus my battery doesn't last as long as I would like it to, but that was bound to happen no matter where I was diving.
