After nearly two months out of the water, I finally had the opportunity to get some diving in today.

The plan was to do one dive up at Seacrest with Jerome, and then drive up to Edmonds for our second dive, using the drive time as our surface interval. As with all of our diving plans - things changed, and we only did the one dive.

I was the reason the second dive didn't happen. I had some equipment issues - first, my fin strap kept pulling out of the buckle (but I did learn that I am able to fix that problem - even while in the water.) Then my primary light's bulb refused to cooperate (the bad part about that problem is that it's going to cost me about $75 to repalce that bulb.) I also discovered that one of my tanks is only about half-full (that's what I get for not diving for two months - I lost track of which tank had what in it.) And finally, my camera's batteries died during the beginning of the dive.

But at least I was able to do a dive, get some pictures, and enjoy the beautiful weather that Seattle was having this morning. (It's now pouring down rain.)
