My first dive with my newest dive camera.

The first two cameras I owned (both digital, both made by SeaLife) featured a fixed focus point - meaning that if I wanted to get closer to a subject than what the camera was designed for, I had to use special macro lenses. Each macro lens was designed for a specific distance. If I was too close - the picture would be blurry.

With the new camera, I no longer had to worry about macro lenses since the camera has a built in optical zoom - and an auto focus feature. Both nice enhancements - in theory. For the time being, those enhancements are causing me to relearn how to take pictures, so the first few sets are probably going to be a bit off until I get used to the new camera.

While there are quite a few "worthless" shots, there are still a handful that turned out pretty good. No complaints from me.

Today's dive was in the morning, which (for us anyway) typically has worse visibility than our evening dives.

After looking through all these pictures, I realize that even the ones I don't like, still look okay when you view them at 100% (instead of the reduced sizes on the pages that follow.)
